Pheonix Awarded Two Year Surface Water Monitoring Project

On May 11, 2015 Phoenix Environmental was awarded a two year surface water monitoring project by Metro Parks.

Phoenix was selected by the Columbus & Franklin Co. Metro Parks to assist with their two year surface water sampling project. The project goal is to, “assess the health of the aquatic environment and aquatic organisms, to, provide benchmark data for future comparisons, and to provide information that may help protect the public that come into contact with these waters.” Phoenix will be visiting 19 locations at ten Metro Parks in order to collect water samples from creeks and ponds for laboratory analysis. We will also be measuring surface water quality parameters and collecting other pertinent data. We may even, if time permits, do a little fishing.
